PRACTICUM

 

All International Education Management (IEM) students at MIIS are required to complete a four- to six-month practicum in the field. You can learn more about the practicum requirements here. 

 

For my practicum, I am currently in Madrid, Spain at ACCENT España Programas Académicos Internacionales S.L. from January until May 2016, which is an international organization for American students studying abroad in Madrid through custom-made programs.

 

I am working closely with the Program Coordinators preparing and conducting orientation, assisting with housing coordination and maintenance, as well as planning and facilitating cultural activities and excursions with our students.

 

Besides my daily administrative responsibilities in the office, I also have several projects that I am currently completing as a part of my Master's degree from MIIS.
